PREPOSITIONS

You already saw a few prepositions in use.

In Italia, a Firenze

Prepositions are often unpredictable and idiomatic.
As you can see in the example above,
where English uses the same preposition "in, "
Italian uses in with the name of a country and a with that of a city.

TRICK
To temember which preposition to use, just think of:

" a city in a state in a country"

Con   means "with"

You also saw  da:   do you remember where? Da has several meanings and it is used often in idiomatic expressions.
