AUDACITY

Start by downloading and installing AUDACITY following the usual procedure. CLICK HERE

Installation will create a folder named "AUDACITY" inside the "Program Files" folder. (The "Program Files" folder is stored directly on the C:\ drive of your computer. To find the C:\ drive, just click the MY COMPUTER icon on the desktop. To find the desktop, you have to turn on the computer.)

At this point you will need an MP3 encoder file.  The filename is lame_enc.dll

Download it and place inside the AUDACITY FOLDER inside the Program Files folder.

Open AUDACITY.  Click the red button to record a file. Click "FILE" and "Export as MP3." The computer will tell you that it needs the lame_enc.dll file.

Browse to Program Files >Audacity and click on lame_enc.dll.

From now on, Audacity will automatically find the converter file.

Name the file, and click OK
.
